Adaptogenic Mushroom Latte with Ashwagandha

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)
  • 1 tsp reishi mushroom powder (or mix of reishi, lion’s mane, chaga)
  • ½ tsp ashwagandha powder
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp raw honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of sea salt


Instructions:

  1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, warm the almond milk until hot but not boiling.
  2. Whisk in the mushroom powder, ashwagandha, cinnamon, vanilla, and sea salt.
  3. Froth the mixture using a handheld frother or whisk until creamy.
  4. Pour into your favorite mug, add honey or maple syrup if desired, and enjoy warm.
